AABB encourages members to submit questions for the "Ask the Standards" session at the 2023 AABB Annual Meeting, taking place Oct. 14-17 in Nashville, Tenn.
In this session, representatives from AABB’s Blood Banks and Transfusion Services and Immunohematology Reference Laboratories Standards Committees will provide meeting attendees with an overview of new and changed standards to the forthcoming 34th edition of Standards for Blood Banks and Transfusion Services and 13th edition of Standards for Immunohematology Reference Laboratories. The representatives will also explain AABB's standards-setting cycle, and answer questions submitted by the AABB community.
To submit a question to "Ask the Standards," attendees are invited to send an email with their question to [email protected]. While representatives from other AABB Standards Committees will not be designated speakers, AABB requests questions concerning all sets of AABB Standards be submitted by Friday, September 15.
