As of March 2023, CP Lab Safety has moved 100 percent of its production and supply chain inside America, moving away from overseas production in countries where supply chain difficulties have grown and in areas of political strife. The process to end overseas manufacturing first began in 2009 and is now fully established back in America. CP Lab Safety was worried about escalating product costs, so it decided to move its manufacturing from China to California. CP Lab Safety CEO Kelly Farhangi said, “In the U.S., you can manufacture on a cost comparable to China.”
Established in 1996, CP Lab Safety is a woman-owned small business that sells 200,000+ lab safety, labware, and chemical products to laboratories from coast to coast.
