Bio-Rad Laboratories has announced it will present an array of clinical diagnostic-related offerings at this year’s Association for Diagnostics and Laboratory Medicine (ADLM) Clinical Lab Expo in Chicago on July 27-31 at Booth 512.
Among its offerings to attendees, Bio-Rad will present an industry workshop event titled, “From Waste to Wow: Optimizing Your Quality Control Workflow.” The workshop, being held Wednesday, July 30th from 7:00 am – 8:30 am at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, in the Jackson Park B-D Room, is designed to provide attendees with strategies to streamline QC management across multihospital systems for system-wide efficiency, reduce waste streams in clinical chemistry, and recognize patient-based real-time QC to improve lab QC processes.
Lab professionals can earn P.A.C.E. credits at the workshop. Moderated by Bio-Rad’s Senior Product Manager of Informatics, Nico VandePoele, the event will feature presentations by Joshua Hayden, PhD, DABCC, FADLM, Section Director, Clinical Biochemistry, Cleveland Clinic; Joe Wiencek, PhD, DABCC, FADLM, Associate Professor in Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology at Vanderbilt School of Medicine; and John Yundt-Pacheco, MSCS, Principle Scientist, Sr, Bio-Rad.
Bio-Rad will also spotlight innovative technologies supporting laboratory workflows. Lab professionals can dive into live demonstrations of advanced blood typing systems, high-throughput multiplex assays, and streamlined quality control data management tools, all designed to boost precision and efficiency in labs worldwide.
