AABB announces new board of directors
The Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB) has announced their 2025-2026 Board of Directors. The board was selected by AABB’s members through voting and will start their terms after AABB’s annual meeting.
According to the association:
- The two new at-large directors are Caroline Wesonga Wangamati, MSc, MA, BCom, to serve in position #7 and Rob Van Tuyle in position #9.
- Pampee Young, MD, PhD will continue serving in position #1.
- Ray Goodrich, PhD will continue serving in position #5.
- The following directors have been selected by incoming president Jose Cancelas, MD, PhD, CABP: Jose Mauro Kutner, MD, and Nancy Dunbar, MD.
- “AABB members elected three officers who will serve under Cancelas: Richard Schäfer, MD, FRSB, will serve as president-elect; Delisa English, MBA, will serve as vice president; and Sally Campbell-Lee, MD, CABP, will serve as secretary.”
