Someone you look up to in the industry: There are many people I admire and am grateful for, but I will always look up to my sister, who is a nurse. She introduced me to this profession before I pursued my degree in it. She encourages me to become better every day and has always pushed me to aim higher in terms of dreams and goals.
Favorite hobby: Right now, I’m deeply immersed in learning a new language, particularly French.
Favorite movie of all time: I love the movie Forrest Gump, so I could say this is my all-time favorite. It’s because the movie talks about love, resilience, and how one person can make a big difference in the world, regardless of their situation.
Favorite band or musician: I enjoy music a lot; there are many artists I like. Right now, Sza is my favorite.
Favorite thing about working in a lab: There’s always something new to discover, and the process of learning is endless. I find hematology and microbiology fascinating and rewarding. There’s so much to learn just by observing through the microscope. I take pride in my job because we assist doctors in diagnosing patients. Collaborating with my peers is another aspect of my work that I greatly enjoy.
