Registration for the 2023 Annual Meeting, the blood and biotherapies field’s premier event, opens to AABB members next Wednesday, May 31. This year’s Meeting will bring community members from throughout the world to Nashville, Tenn., Oct. 14-17 to connect, network, learn and advance the field.
The 2023 AABB Annual Meeting will include a general session featuring a keynote address from Simon T. Bailey, a breakthrough strategist and author, who will share the challenge and value in actively developing an understanding culture in the workplace. After the general session, AABB will welcome attendees to the opening celebration of the exhibit hall, featuring industry partners highlighting the latest products and services for the field. This year, the exhibit hall will also be home to the inaugural Biotherapies Pavilion, specifically designed to promote the advancement of biotherapeutic technologies.
This year’s educational program will include around 120 expert-led educational sessions, comprising an exciting mix of new sessions and perennial favorites. Additionally, the AABB Annual Meeting Education Committee expanded the biotherapies offerings at the 2023 Meeting; approximately one-third of sessions will focus on biotherapies-related content.
As always, the AABB Annual Meeting will showcase the latest practice-changing research. This year’s schedule includes more oral abstract presentations along with three new abstract “spotlight sessions.” During these 90-minute events, abstract presenters will share the stage with renowned experts in the field to discuss the “state of the science” of the REDS research program and the changing field of biotherapies. A final “spotlight session” will include a CEO panel discussion.
