AABB’s 2022 Virtual Annual Meeting begins on Sunday, November 6. Individuals who have not previously registered may do so online.
The Virtual Meeting program includes a mix of 20 live and 26 on-demand sessions focusing on the latest topics in transfusion medicine and biotherapies, as well as a virtual poster hall comprising more than 300 scientific posters.
During the Virtual Meeting’s live sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to connect and discuss the session’s content using the virtual platform’s chat feature. In addition, each live session includes a question-and-answer segment with the presenters. These sessions will be available on demand after they conclude.
The program will also feature a General Session with a keynote address from Simon T. Bailey, an award-winning motivational speaker and author. In his remarks, Bailey will explore challenges, uncertainty and the value of diversity in today's ever-changing workforce and share how listeners can leverage these challenges within their facilities to motivate and inspire others.
Those attending the Virtual Meeting will have access to the platform, on-demand content and recordings of live sessions through December 7. CME information is available online.
For those who registered for the in-person Annual Meeting in Orlando, AABB has automatically transferred that registration to the Virtual Meeting and refunded the difference in registration cost, if applicable. Those who cannot attend the Virtual Meeting should email [email protected] to request a full refund.
