Mayo Clinic has opened the Duan Family Building to make aggressive cancer treatment more accessible, according to an announcement.
The new building includes:
- 228,000 square feet
- The first carbon ion therapy program in the Americas, projected to be available by 2028
- Simultaneous carbon ion and proton treatment
- A variety of additional cancer treatments
