Alex C. Chin, PhD, DABCC, FADLM, FCACB

spent 13 years as a researcher in basic inflammation and innate immunity at the University of Calgary and Emory University School of Medicine, and two more years in a clinical chemistry postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. He served for 11 years as a board-certified clinical chemist at Alberta Precision Laboratories (formerly known as Calgary Laboratory Services) and held an adjunct faculty appointment as a clinical associate professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine. Dr. Chin joined Roche Diagnostics in 2021 as a scientific partner in Medical and Scientific Affairs, a non-commercial division of Roche, to develop US-based medical strategies in preeclampsia and automated mass spectrometry.
