Favorite band or musician: No real favorite, I enjoy everything from folk to rap and ska. I like music that is uplifting and empowering.
Favorite thing about working in a lab: I love that there is something different every day. While there are typical and common abnormal specimens, there are also the abnormally abnormal specimens, and working to understand what is occurring and ensuring we do our due diligence for those patients is not only exciting but fulfilling. I also enjoy teaching and helping students who are struggling to learn a technique or understand a concept learn to master it.
